I am Juma Alshamsi, a dedicated cybersecurity expert with a passion for ethical hacking and digital forensics. As the CEO of Exploit3rs, I lead a team committed to advancing cybersecurity through innovative CTF competitions and hands-on workshops designed to elevate the skills of both novices and seasoned professionals. My journey in cybersecurity is fueled by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and excellence, reflected in my ongoing education and numerous certifications.
My Story
Welcome to my journey in the world of Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, a path that has shaped my career and passion for cybersecurity.

My CTF journey began during my college years, ignited by my participation in the Dubai World Police Summit CTF 2023, where I proudly secured 4th place. This achievement fueled my motivation and passion for CTFs. Recognizing the potential and the thrill of these competitions, I decided to establish a CTF Club at my college, taking on the role of President. Our mission was clear: to spread awareness about CTF competitions and encourage fellow students to participate.

Our first CTF competition was a humble beginning with just seven participants. Despite the small turnout, it was a significant milestone. Encouraged by the experience, I aimed higher for our second event. I reached out to RIT Dubai and Curtin Dubai, leading to the creation of the Tri-Tech Cyber Showdown CTF Competition. This collaboration was a test of our organizational skills and team coordination. Reflecting on the event's success, I realized that with a well-coordinated team and clear goals, even larger projects could be managed effectively.

Driven by this newfound confidence, I set my sights on an even grander scale. Thus, "Exploit3rs Largest Student-Led Hacking Event" was born. This ambitious project marked the inception of Exploit3rs, reflecting our commitment to creating a platform that nurtures cybersecurity talent and fosters community engagement.

Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of teamwork, vision, and perseverance. My journey from a novice participant to the organizer of major CTF events exemplifies my dedication to the field of cybersecurity and my continuous quest for growth and excellence.
